Match Preview: Carrick Rangers (a)

SATURDAY 14th APRIL - KO 3pm

Supporters Bus: Gibson's Lane 1.45pm

Ards travel to play a Carrick Rangers side struggling to get the points that will keep them out of the automatic relegation place. Carrick have four games left and currently sit in the relegation play-off place ten points from safety. They are only two points ahead of Ballinamallard, who currently occupy the automatic relegation spot and also have four games left. Ards have two home games after this and one more point guarantees ninth place while they still have hopes of catching Dungannon and finishing in eighth place.

Previous games this season saw Ards win the first two encounters by a 1-0 scoreline, with Scott Davidson being the goalscorer on both occasions, while Carrick extracted revenge by winning 4-0 in Bangor in February.

The good news on the team front is that there are no suspensions, but the quartet of Guillame Keke, Ross Clarke, David McAllister and Scott Davidson didn't train this week and are therefore not ready to return, while Johnny Taylor and David Elebert did train but may not be ready for match action.

The PASC will be running a bus leaving the Social Club/Gibson's Lane at 1.45 pm. Fans are encouraged to use this cheap and convenient way to watch our last away game of the season.
