Match Preview: Coleraine (h)

ARDS vs COLERAINE

SATURDAY 17th MARCH KO 3pm

In the final home game before the League splits into the top and bottom six, Ards take on title chasing Coleraine, who will be motivated by having closed the gap on Crusaders to just two points after last weekend's results.

Ards will go into the game on the back of their best run of League form this season, with nine points and three clean sheets gained from the last four games. That is unlikely to worry Coleraine as they have already beaten Ards twice this season and are the only team in the league with a better record over that period which has seen them earn ten points.

Ards are likely to be without Adam McAleenan who has been away on International duty with the Northern Ireland Under 18 schoolboys team this week and the injured Davids, McAllister and Elebert, but while they will be missed, after last weeks excellent team performance at Ballinamallard, most fans would settle for the same starting eleven as took the pitch at Ferney Park.

Coleraine will no doubt bring a big crowd down with them, so hopefully Ards fans will turn out in force to support the team.

Ball Sponsors: The Loft Bar Newtownards and Brian McDonald.
