Match Preview : Crusaders [h]

Ards vs Crusaders.

Bangor Fuels Arena.

Saturday 23rd March at 3.00 p.m.

Both teams will want to get something out of this game, the last before the split. Ards are fighting for survival in the Premiership while Crusaders are sitting third after a great run of form and are just five points off second placed Ballymena United.

The Crues recent run has seen them win eleven of their last thirteen league games, win the County Antrim Shield last week with a 4-3 success over Linfield and with Irish Cup wins over Linfield and Ballymena they have a semi-final against Coleraine to look forward to next week. In Jordan Owens, Paul Heatley and David Cushley all in goalscoring form Ards will have their work cut out to prevent Crusaders notching up a fifth successive league win over the Red and Blues.

Manager Warren Feeney's job is made no easier by the unavailability of Kym Nelson and Damian McNulty through suspension and Michael Kerr who is ineligible against his parent club. Nelson of course is missing for the rest of the league season while McNulty misses one game as a result of picking up his fifth yellow card.

On a more positive note Eamon McAllister is available again and Darren Henderson played just over 20 minutes last week on his return from injury.

Admission to this game is £11 and £7 for concessions, season tickets are valid.
