Match Preview: Dungannon (a)

Supporters Bus Departs: 1.15pm

Dungannon are currently bottom of the league with two draws and four defeats from their six games so far, although they did beat Hanover 2-0 in the Mid-Ulster Cup on the same night Ards beat Dundela in the County Antrim Shield. They are likely to be led by caretaker manager Terry Fitzpatrick following the departure of Rodney McAree who took over the Coleraine hot seat last week.

Ards fans will remember Fitzpatrick's last minute penalty giving the Swifts a 4-3 win in the last game of last season at Clandeboye Road in what was his final game for the Swifts before ending a long and distinguished playing career with the club. It is something of a surprise to see the Swifts position at the foot of the table, but it is early days and Ards are only three points ahead of them so this is an important game for both clubs.

The Ards squad will not include Jonny Frazer, who went off injured against Coleraine last week. The popular winger, who has already scored twice this season, has a hamstring injury and could be out for up to six weeks. Jason Mooney has missed the last couple of games and if he is still unfit Matthew Davidson will no doubt provide cover from the bench for the in-form Sam Johnston. The other doubt is David McAllister, who missed the mid-week game with a touch of flu.

The PASC are running a bus for all fans wishing to travel to the game, leaving the Gibson Lane/Social Club area at 1.15 p.m.
