Match Preview: Dungannon Swifts (a)

Sat 27th January 2018 - 3pm

Stangmore Park, Dungannon

PASC supporters' bus leaves Gibson's Lane at 1.15pm

Ards travel to Dungannon only six weeks after their last visit which ended in a 0-0 draw and began a run which has yielded ten points from a possible fifteen in the League and a cup win over Crumlin Star.

Dungannon's recent form hasn't been so good and they have failed to score in their last three league games, indeed they have only scored 20 in their 25 league games so far, a situation they hope will be resolved by the recent signing of ex Cliftonville striker Daniel Hughes.

Dungannon sit one point ahead of Ards in eighth place and the teams have identical goal differences, although Ards have a game in hand. Ards fans will be hoping that Dungannon will have one eye on their League Cup semi-final with Crusaders next Tuesday and the Red and Blues will be able to bring the three points home.

Ards will not have the services of either Johnny Taylor, who completes his two match suspension, or Craig McMillen who starts a two match ban of his own.

There are a number of walking wounded in the squad, but it is hoped that they will be available for consideration by Saturday.

Fans wishing to travel to the game are as always encouraged to use the PASC bus which will leave the Sports Club/Gibson's Lane at 1.15.p.m.
