Match Preview : Institute F.C. [a]

Institute F.C vs Ards.

Ryan McBride Brandywell Stadium.

Saturday April 20th at 3.00 p.m.

This a game Ards need to win and if Newry City manage to get a positive result from their match with Glentoran the previous night it will become a "must win" game for the Red aand Blues. Last week's encouraging display and point from Glentoran was undone when Newry went to Warrenpoint later that same evening and won 4-2 leaving Ards three points behind at the foot of the table.

Institute have a 100% record against Ards this season, indeed Ards have yet to score against their opponents but even neutral observers will consider Ards very unlucky to lose two of those games by a 1-0 scoreline with one game settled by a last minute winner and the Boxing Day "derby" by a debatable penalty. Warren Feeney wasn't in charge for any of those games so Ards fans will be hoping he can change the sequence and bring home the points.

Team selection will probably be from those involved last week, although Johnny Taylor will miss the game after being sent off for receiving two yellow cards against Glentoran.

All Ards fans intending to travel to the game are encouraged to use the PASC bus which will be leaving the Social Club/Gibson's Lane area at 12.30 p.m.

Referee : Tim Marshall.

Assistant 1 : David Anderson.

Assistant 2 : Adam Jeffrey.

4th Official : Barry Monaghan.
