Ards Football Club are one of only a handful of Irish League Clubs who still produce a match programme, with current editor Adrian Monaghan the longest serving programme editor in the Irish League, undertaking the role since 1997. .

Adrian is inviting all children born after

01 Jan 2006 to design a cover page for the match programme against Warrenpoint Town, which will take place on 21 Jan 2023.

The pupil producing the winning design will be awarded the following:

· Invited to the Ards v Warrenpoint Town FC fixture as a VIP guest with their immediate family

· A signed copy of the programme

· An opportunity to meet the 1st Team Manager and Captain for photographs

Applicants are encouraged to be as creative as possible but must be in A4 portrait and include the following:

· Ardsview as programme title

· Space for four Sponsor logos (see attached template)

Entries to the competition will be shortlisted down to five finalist by Adrian, which will then be put to an online poll to decide the winner.

Completed programme cover designs should and emailed to, ideally converted to PDF format, with the following information:

· Pupil’s Name

· Pupil’s Age Pupil’s School

· Parent/Guardian’s Contact Number


· By 23 Dec 2022 – All entries to be submitted

· By 30 Dec 2022 – Five finalists will be shortlisted

· 02 – 11 Jan 2023 – Online Poll to select winner

· 13 Jan 2023 – Winner announced

· 21 Jan 2023 – Programme released
