P.A.S.C AGM Meeting

The Premier Ards Supporters’ Club recently held their AGM and elected Keith Gilmore as the club’s new chairman. Keith takes over from veteran supporter Ronnie Bailie, who had led the club for nine years.

Despite last season being a non-event on the field, the PASC accounts were able to show a surprisingly good year, with merchandise sales through the club website being very strong, led by purchases of the very popular black away shirt. This allowed the PASC to make a donation of £600 to the football club.

As the PASC enters its 18th year members were advised that increasing transport costs will likely mean decreased profits from buses to away games and appealed for all supporters to use the buses, where possible. The club hopes to run a bus to every away game this season, thanks to some generous sponsorship.

In other business at the AGM, Phillip Bartlett was elected as vice-chairman for the first time, while Andrew McCullough will continue in the secretary/treasurer role. Membership of the club remains open and any new members would be made very welcome. Please speak to any of the office bearers if you would like to join. Club members are entitled to vote for the team’s player of the month award.
