Following a submission by Knockbreda F.C. to the IFA Appeals Board and the Board's subsequent findings being referred to an Independent Commission a decision was announced today that Loughgall had played an ineligible player in a league fixture against Knockbreda and the result was reversed in Knockbreda's favour. The same player also appeared against Ards on September 21st 2019 in a game at Lakeview Park that was a 0-0 draw, this fixture was awarded to Ards with a 3-0 scoreline, meaning that Ards gain two points and improve their goal difference.
Ards still sit in fourth position in the revised league table but now have 54 points, while Loughgall lose four points and drop to 58. Portadown and Ballinamallard lead the way on 66 points and 60 points respectively, although Ballinamallard do have a game in hand.
