Taylor-Made For Ards

Ards F.C are pleased to announce that they have agreed terms with the following players in advance of the 2022/23 season.

Returning to the club is central defender Johnny Taylor. Johnny needs no introduction to Ards fans, having been a popular figure at the club prior to his move to Dundela for the start of the ill-fated 2019/20 season.

A potential partner for Taylor in central defence is John McGivern, John represented Northern Ireland Under 17s when with Linfield Swifts and was more recently on the books at Whitley Bay F.C who compete in Division One of the Northern League. John has also played in midfield.

Goalkeeper Jason Craughwell has also agreed terms for next season, 25 year old Jason is 6 ft 2 inches and has previous experience at Crusaders, Knockbreda, Newington, Harland and Wolff Welders and Bangor.

Going in the other direction is Conal McGrandles, whose contract has been terminated by mutual consent. Conal played around 30 times for the Red and Blues last season and chipped in with a couple of goals. We wish Conal well in the future.
