Ards vs Dergview.

Bluefin Sport Championship.

Bangor Fuels Arena.

Saturday 8th February at 3.00 p.m.

Ards welcome Dergview on Saturday hoping to get revenge for the 3-1 defeat the visitors inflicted on the Red and Blues at Darragh Park in September. Strangely the fixture schedulers have Ards hosting Derview again on February 25th!

Ivan Sproule's men currently occupy the relegation play-off position but are only one point behind PSNI and have two games in hand. Like many teams in this division, their form is hard to assess, they have only won two of their last twelve league games, but they were two weeks ago over high flying Portadown and last Tuesday over Dundela, so they will no doubt be in a positive frame of mind.

Realistically, with a promotion place only a mathematical possibility, Ards will be looking to get enough points to at least stay in the top half of the table when the split occurs at the end of March, so a win in this game would be a good start.

John Bailie will have the suspended pairing of Johnny Taylor and Jaimie McGovern available again and hopefully David McAllister will be able to resume after missing the last three games through injury. On the other hand Dylan Wilson is unavailable, Caoimhin McConnell is unwell and new signing Leo Brown was injured playing for the Under 20s last Saturday, while T.J.Murray and Ben Cushnie are in the doubtful category. Another of the new signings, Conall Young may make his debut in place of Scott McMillan who has returned to Harland and Wolff Welders.
