BIG BEN SIGNS UP

BIG SIGNING FOR ARDS.

Ards F.C are delighted to confirm that they have signed Benny Igiehon from Championship rivals Dergview, initially until the end of this season but with an option to extend. Benny who was born in Switzerland stands 6ft 3 ins and played for F.C Solothurn and F.C Langenthal in his homeland, before moving to England where he represented for several clubs including Boston United, Bradford Park Avenue and Scarborough Athletic. His next stop was the League of Ireland where he played for Sligo Rovers and Finn Harps, somewhere along the line he managed to play a few games for Larne in their promotion season. This season Benny has contributed 13 goals from his 20 league games so far for Dergview, an impressive ratio that we hope he can maintain with the Red and Blues. Welcome to Ards Benny!
