Ards former goalkeeper Sam Kydd passed away on the 30th October.
Sam signed for Ards in 1962 from Portadown and made his debut against Distillery on 22 September, Ards lost 4-1 at Grosvenor Park.
He won the Ards Player of the Year in 1964/65 and was granted a testimonial in 1970 culminating in a game against Stoke City in July 1970.
He made 394 appearances before leaving for Coleraine in 1971.
