Match Day 15 QUBFC vs Ards.

Queen's vs Ards.

Bluefin Sport Championship.

The Dub, Belfast.

Saturday November 2nd at 2.00 p.m.

After their win last weekend over PSNI, Ards are looking for back to back League wins for only the second time this season when they travel to the Dub to take on QUBFC. A run of good results is necessary if there is to be any realistic hope of making the top two by the end of the season, .

Ards have won the two previous encounters with this opposition this season, a comfortable 5-0 win in the County Antrim Shield in September, followed by a 3-2 League win the following month that probably wasn't as close as the scoreline suggests.

However, Queen's currently have sixteen points so are only six points behind the Red and Blues and may have hit a bit of form with two wins and a draw in their last three games. The draw last weekend was a great result, coming back from 3-0 down to take a point off a high-flying Portadown side. However, prior to the mini unbeaten run Queens had suffered seven consecutive defeats in all competitions!

In their 14 League games so far Queens have scored 29 and conceded 33 , while Ards have scored 21 and conceded 20 in the same number of games. Only the current top three teams in the division have conceded fewer goals than Ards, but only the current bottom four teams have scored fewer.

Warren Feeney should have a full panel to choose from, apart from long term absentee Jonah Heron, as Craig McMillen has completed his one game suspension, although he currently sits on nine yellow cards so one more will see him miss three games. David McAllister was substituted last weekend but it was more of a precautionary move and he should also be available.

The PASC bus will leave the Social Club/Gibson's Lane at 1.00 p.m. as this is an earlier than usual kick-off.
